Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my order take to arrive?
Personalized items take 3–5 business days to handcraft, plus 3–5 business days in transit — so about 5–9 business days total. Non-personalized items ship faster (1–3 business days handling). Every order ships from our workshop in Humacao, Puerto Rico via USPS with tracking.

I need my gift by a specific date. Can you rush my order?
Possibly! Rush production is free whenever our workshop schedule allows it. Email us at info@thepresentspot.com before placing your order, tell us the date you need it by, and we'll confirm if we can make it happen.

How does personalization work?
Simply type the name, message, or detail into the personalization box on the product page. We engrave exactly what you type — including capital letters — so please double-check spelling before checkout. Personalized items can't be edited once engraving begins.

Is there a character limit for engraving?
Most products allow up to 100 characters. If your text is longer, contact us and we'll let you know what's possible.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Not as a separate service — but every order arrives in beautiful, gift-ready packaging (like our rustic burlap bags for the wooden coupons), so it's ready to give as-is.

Can I return or exchange a personalized item?
Because each piece is custom-engraved for you, personalized items can't be returned or refunded — unless they arrive damaged, defective, or with an engraving mistake on our part. Non-personalized items can be returned within 30 days. See our Refund Policy for details.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Email info@thepresentspot.com right away with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a prepaid return label at no cost to you.

Where do you ship from?
Every order is handmade and shipped from our workshop in Humacao, Puerto Rico. We currently ship to the United States and Puerto Rico.

How do I care for my wood cutting board?
Hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry immediately — never soak it or put it in the dishwasher. Apply food-safe mineral oil once a month to keep the wood beautiful for years.
