# Shipping Policy


At The Present Spot, we specialize in high-quality, personalized, and custom-engraved gifts. We want to ensure your custom items arrive safely and exactly when you expect them. Please review our shipping practices, timelines, and costs below.


## 1. Shipment Processing & Handling Time
Because each item is individually designed, laser-engraved, and handmade to order, we require a small window to prepare your product before it is handed off to the shipping carrier.


*   **Order Handling Time:
-Personalized orders 3 to 5 business days (Monday through Saturday).
-Non-Personalized orders 1 to 3 business days (Monday through Saturday).
*   **Order Cutoff Time: 2:00 PM (AST - Atlantic Standard Time). Orders placed after this time will begin processing the following business day.


#2. Transit Times & Delivery Destinations
We proudly ship our custom products from Puerto Rico to destinations across the United States and Puerto Rico. We utilize reliable carrier networks (including USPS) to fulfill your orders.


*   **Estimated Transit Time:  3 to 5 business days (Monday through Saturday).
*   **Total Delivery Time:** Total time is calculated by adding Handling Time + Transit Time. You can generally expect your custom gift to arrive within 6 to 10 business days from the moment your order is successfully placed.


#3. Shipping Costs & Rates
Transparency is incredibly important to us. All shipping charges are explicitly displayed at checkout before you submit your payment details.


* Shipping Fee: Depending on the weight of your product, from 6.99 to 15.99 per item.
* Hidden Fees: There are no hidden handling, processing, or packaging fees added at checkout. The price you see in your cart plus the stated shipping rate is the final price you pay.


## 4. Order Tracking
Once your custom order has been engraved, packaged, and shipped, you will automatically receive a confirmation email containing a carrier tracking link (e.g., USPS tracking number). Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to update on the carrier's portal.


## 5. Damaged Packages
Because wood and natural materials can be fragile, we pack every item securely. If your item arrives broken or damaged due to transit, please contact us immediately at info@thepresentspot.com with a photo of the damaged item and packaging so we can prioritize a replacement for you.
